Search Services

testimonialNMG strives to offer services that meet the differing needs of a wide variety of client companies. We offer three types of executive search services: Contingency, Container and Retained.

Contingency
Under the Contingency model, NMG refers qualified candidates to the client and assists in arranging interviews for those candidates you wish to consider. There is no up front fee for a contingency search. A fee is only incurred if you hire any applicant(s) we refer for consideration.

Container
Our Container model is designed to foster a greater partnership between NMG and the client company. For a period of 60 days, the client agrees to employ NMG on an exclusive basis to fill the designated job opening. NMG agrees to prioritize the container search ahead of any contingency job assignments our firm is working on. Many clients prefer the Container model over Contingency service given the additional value NMG can bring to the search process, including:

  • Builds Organizational Capacity – NMG serves as single point of contact for all external candidates. We review the resumes, complete the candidate screenings, benchmark the talent, and submit a detailed summary of qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Exclusivity – For the length of the 60 day engagement, NMG agrees not to present candidates submitted for your search to any other client company.
  • Speed to Fill – Your search is elevated to the top of the priority list and receives greater focus from NMG’s staff.

Engaging NMG in a Container search requires an upfront flat fee based on the targeted annual salary for the designated job opening. Should the client hire any candidates referred by NMG, a contingency fee, less the container payment, will apply.

Retained
NMG also offers full Retained search services. In a Retained Search, NMG agrees to work exclusively with your organization to develop a customized search strategy and process to fill the designated job opening. Retained searches receive the full commitment of NMG’s entire staff and include the following elements:

  • Craft Ideal Candidate Profile and sourcing strategy
  • Identification & assessment of potential candidates
  • Manage all interviewing & scheduling logistics
  • Conduct all first round interviews
  • Verification of education credentials
  • Conduct candidate reference checks
  • Presentation of a slate of qualified candidates
  • Assistance formulating any offers – input on desired compensation
  • Presentation of offer and negotiating its acceptance
